Passed away peacefully on August 18, 2021. Aged 92 years. Dearly loved Husband of Evelyn Jean (dec). Loving Father of Diane & Graham. Father in law of David & Karen. Cherished Grandfather of Darren, Brian & Rebecca. Great Grandfather of 9. “One of nature’s true Gentleman”

Thanks for your friendship these past 76 years. Treasured memories of the 'Peg and Bet' and the bed collapse at 2.0am in the morning. Goodbye, Jack, Dear Friend, Rest Now in Peace- unless the engine breaks down and you have to get the Primus Stove going to heat the plugs.

We honour Jim’s generosity to his many friends and colleagues, his service in the navy and his contribution to Australia's military aviation industry. Jim valued family and tradition, was a true gentlemen who always had an engaging smile and sense of humour. Jim was a master at growing lemons, lots of lemons and making pickling onions which he shared generously with his colleagues, especially at the monthly Sunday RSL lunches where he will be sadly missed. It was always a great pleasure to go to Bellarine RAM and Jim's smiling face was a feature
It was always a shot about Naval service him being Real Navy (RN) and myself Real Armature Navy (RAN) he being a "Birdie" and me General service but we were at least agreeable we were in the elite branch of a "Greenie"

Jim, you will be sadly missed. Your help, support, and guidance over the past 20 years in Freemasonry has been so greatly appreciated and having the fond memories of our interaction will last with me for a lifetime. The White Ensign looked superb mate.

Barry and I would like to extend our sincerest condolences to Diane, Graham and their families on the passing of Uncle Jack. He will always be remembered for his warmth and good humour. What an interesting life he led.
I hope we can all meet up again we this pandemic is over.

Our Uncle Jack was always a huge part of the extended Spencer “Clan” and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him, always the gentleman.
