Patrick John Finnegan, 81, passed away on October 25th in the Epworth Hospital in Geelong, Victoria.
Pat is the son of Eileen and James (Jim) Finnegan. He was born on December 3rd, 1942, in Hamilton, Vic. He grew up in Echuca, leaving high school in his later grade levels to start working for Victorian Producers (VPC). Pat navigated a-39-year career at VPC, and as an auctioneer ultimately managing the Swan Hill Office.
Pat is survived by his wife, Carmel; their children: Chris and his wife Trish; and Paula and her husband Carey and their two children: Fynn and Ned Booth.
Pat is predeceased by his three brothers, Jim, Bernie and Brendon.
Pat was so lucky to have a life filled with good friends, warm sand, beautiful beaches and cold beer.
He will forever be remembered as someone who was kindhearted and principled, who loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends.

Funeral notice
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Mr Patrick John Finnegan, to be held at St Thomas Catholic Church, Peninsula Drive, Drysdale on FRIDAY (November 8, 2024) commencing at 1pm.
Private Cremation

Condolences to Carmel & family on the passing of Patrick.I was fortunate to be a driver for Epworth Hostpital who brought him into Geelong for his treatments and had many enjoyable discussions during our drive. Rest in peace Patrick.

To Carmel, Chris, Paula & families -- Please accept our deepest sympathy with Pat's passing -- you all & we have lost a wonderful man, who will be sorely missed. Pat is now in peace, no more suffering.

Pat was much loved by his brother, Brendon (deceased), his sister in law, Caryl and niece Sarah, husband Derek (Dez) & their children Liam & Connor.
So many good times spent together especially at Anglesea.
