  2. Cousin Don was a much loved, larger than life, always a twinkle in the eye, time for a chat, faithful Christian gentleman.
Don was the eldest first cousin of the George & Jessie Strack family. He is fondly remembered by Margaret, Georgie, Judith, David, Gwenda, Alan, Heather, Fred and Colin, and their respective partners.
To Colin & Dianne, Cousin Don (& dear Val dec) was our treasured friend. Giver of sound advice, a helping hand, and a joke. Great memories of happy times spent socialising together, along with the all important yummy afternoon tea or dinner meal.
Your orchids are blooming well Don. We will be remembering you each year as we enjoy their flowering.
Deepest sympathy to Christine, Lesley, Anderson & families; and to Don’s brothers Geoff & Ian, and their families

  4. Our love and prayers are with the Hewitt family today after the sad passing of Don. We would have loved to have been part of the service. This being not possible we were fortunate to be able to view the lovely service from home and enjoyed all the beautiful memories and photos of Don that you shared.

We have many fond memories of Don and Val from St Pauls. Don was a generous and kind man to us during a difficult time for our family including building a bungalow for the boys and inspecting a few homes we were looking to buy. Rest In Peace Don.

  6. Sincere condolences on the death of Don. He was a very good friend to us from when we arrived in Geelong in the early 1990s. Both Don and Val befriended us but also helped practically in many ways. Don was always quiet, sincere and humble but had may talents and he offered his services so willingly to all. He is remembered fondly and we are thankful to have shared his fine humanity and Christian witness.

  7. Our sympathy and condolences to all the family of Don and Val. Don was a lovely gentleman of quiet disposition and caring nature. We missed Val and Don at St Paul's Church as they aged and moved away and are sad that they have now passed on. It is also sad that we cannot be there to show our respect at Don's passing but nonetheless Anne and I have good memories of both Don and Val and are sure they will be happy to be reunited in God's care. May they both rest in peace.
