Funeral notice
Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service for Mrs Maureen Margaret King to be held at the Drysdale Community Church, 276-290 Jetty Rd, Drysdale on FRIDAY (Aug. 9, 2024) commencing at 11am, followed by Burial at Eastern Cemetery (Ormond Rd, Gate 3).

Dear Mark and Claire, I did not know your Mum for very long, only 2 1/2 years which was when we first started at DCC. I loved your Mum from the first moment I met her. She was such an example of the love of Christ as she showered that love on everyone around her. You knew instantly that this was not false in any way but an overflow from her heart of love for her Lord and Saviour. As I started to go to the ladies groups and spending more time with her there it was so noticeable that she was like that all the time, no pretence or falseness at all. She always gave you her full attention when talking to her and then answered with love, kindness, wisdom and usually humour! I shall miss her greatly.
I’m sorry that I am unable to attend her celebration service as my husband and I are in Queensland but I will be watching online. I pray that as a family you will be able to grieve well and take comfort that she is now in the presence of her Lord and Saviour who she loved with all her heart.August 09, 2024 9:16 am
Dear Mark Claire and family our thoughts are with you all at this sad time. Maureen was always there for everyone and she will be missed but we will never forget her. We are so sorry we cannot be there with you now but know you are all in our thoughts. Love Peter and Janeane 💐❤️
