Dear Richard, we first met when I was teaching.at
Ash wood High in 1967. We reconnected in 1975
When I fell off a horse. We bumped into each other frequently, socially from time to time and we had many mutual friends. You were always ready with sound advice and support in my hour of need. Always a loyal and dependable and cheerful friend to the last. A great loss to family
and recent close friends. We were two short weeks from reconnecting after many years due to my moving to NSW.June 20, 2022 4:55 am
Well Richard I'll miss our discussions on all manner of things from football to politics and everything in between. To say you were an interesting man is an understatement sadly we didn't get to have that beer together but I have raised a stubby to you and your memory. It was a pleasure to keep your house clean rest in peace now old fella no more pain Mark and Cathy

Richard
You have made a significant contribution to the development of physiotherapy in Australia, especially in regard to the practice of manual therapy and spinal manipulation. I will be forever grateful for your kindness, advice and support when I was deciding which direction to take in my chosen profession of health care. I will be thinking of you and your family today as your life is celebrated.

We are so very sad Richard.
You have been a really good friend over the many years since our girls started at Lauriston. We have special memories of weekends at Birregurra which were always full of activities and fun. You were so warm and welcoming. You had an amazing memory and such a wide knowledge that we always enjoyed our lengthy chats about so many interesting topics including the war years.
You leave behind very caring family and friends and we will miss you.

I shall remember Richard for two things. First the kindness and generosity he always showed towards me and the warmth of his welcome on my many visits to Australia. Secondly the energy and determination he brought to everything he did coupled with his extraordinary memory and wide range of interests. We enjoyed so many long (and often animated !) discussions on so many subjects. I shall miss him greatly and Australia will never be the same to me without him.
My thoughts will be with you all tomorrow.June 10, 2022 3:48 pm
Having only met on too few occasions, it was very evident that here was a man of many attributes. He would engage you in many interesting and informative conversations, very knowledgeable indeed. Rest in peace Richard.
